JUDr. Pavol Szabo, LL.M. is an attorney-at-law, partner and head of the dispute resolution and data protection & AI Team in Bratislava, where the slovak branch of Chrenek, Toman, Kotrba is located. 

He joined Chrenek, Toman,Kotrba in 2025.

Pavol co-founded the Slovak Association for Data Protection and currently serves as its Vice-Chair. He is also a member of the board of the European Federation of Data Protection Officers (EFDPO). These organisations bring together data protection officers (DPOs) and professionals in the field of personal data protection and security in Slovakia and across Europe. Pavol is also a frequent speaker on data protection and AI at professional conferences in Slovakia and abroad.

Since 2017, he has been registered as an attorney-at-law with the Slovak Bar Association under No. 7539.

He has been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors of the European Federation of Data Protection Officers (EFDPO) in Brussels since June 2019. Since September 2019, he has also held the position of Vice-Chairman of the Association for Personal Data Protection in Bratislava. In addition, since February 2021, he has been an External Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava.
