Stuart is a Consultant of the Osbornes’ award-winning personal injury department.

Since joining Osbornes in 1994 Stuart has built a heavyweight injury litigation practice, specialising in brain and complex injury cases. He is “incredibly empathetic and very knowledgeable about traumatic brain injury” (Chambers UK, 2019). “Enormously experienced” (Legal 500)

In that time he has also grown the department into one of the UK’s leading PI teams, noted for its “exceptional service, great knowledge and understanding of the law, excellent client care and tactical nous” (Chambers UK, 2019).

Memberships

Stuart was elected to the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers’ National Executive Committee in 2007 and served for nine years, including three years as APIL’s elected company secretary.

Stuart previously served as a trustee of the London Cycling Campaign (LCC)

Stuart was also a member of the Law Society’s policy-making body the Law Society Council and its Civil Justice Committee from 2010 to 2013.

He is an approved solicitor for Headway – the brain injury association, and for the Brain Injury Group

He is a Fellow of APIL, as well as an appointed member of the Forum of Complex Injury Solicitors (FOCIS)
