Michel was previously a partner at Eversheds Sutherland, where he led the energy practice and the competition practice in the Netherlands. Michel is a specialist in energy law, competition law, and commercial contracts. The focus of his practice is on the energy transition. With his extensive experience in the energy sector, Michel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm. He advises national and international companies, as well as governments and public sector institutions. Michel has been affiliated with the International Institute for Energy Law in Leiden and the European Commission, DG for Energy. He is a sought-after speaker for conferences, seminars, and training courses.
