Leo Fattorini is an aviation and aircraft finance lawyer based in Singapore and is Head of Aircraft Finance, Asia and the Middle East.
With over 20 years’ experience in the aviation sector, Leo has acted for airlines, lessors, investors and other industry participants on a range of aviation transactional matters, including operating leases, insurance-backed financing, finance leases, sale and leasebacks, wet leases, spare engine leases and aircraft acquisitions and disposals.
Leo also has a wealth of experience advising airlines and other aviation stakeholders on aviation commercial, engineering and regulatory matters, including power by the hour arrangements, MRO General Terms Agreements, consignment agreements, tear down arrangements, sales and leasebacks of high value components and General Sales Agency Agreements.
Other projects and matters on which Leo has advised include mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, opening of new routes, disputes and competition/antitrust.
Leo previously held a senior position within the legal team of a major UK airline, giving him a valuable insight into the business operations and strategy of airline businesses and how legal advice can be most effectively tailored to their needs.
Having spent well over a decade in Singapore, Leo has developed strong ties across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions, with particular experience in India, where he has supported over 250 aircraft deliveries.
