Sam has extensive experience in the litigation/insurance industry, having spent 15+ years as an insurance litigator in private practice, most recently at the US firm, Cooley, working on a wide range of high-value, complex commercial disputes. Throughout his career, Sam has also been deeply involved in the insurance industry, having been involved in insurance litigation, regulatory matters and industry bodies.

Immediately prior to joining Toremis Specialty, he headed up the contingent risk team at a leading Transactional Risk MGA, where he established himself as a leading underwriter in the space. Sam’s underwriting approach combines his legal background and training with commercial awareness to find solutions to the complex problems faced by insureds
