Marcus Fishburn

Marcus is the Global Head of Disputes & Investigations at S-RM. He specialises in supporting clients through contentious situations, providing evidence or intelligence to give them an edge in their disputes: by tracing assets across borders, locating key witnesses, developing non-public intelligence or investigating fraud. After several years with GPW + Co, he joined S-RM at the start of 2018 to build its Disputes & Investigations practice, where his work involves close collaboration with legal, PR and forensic accountancy teams.

Richard Fogarty

Richard  (Rich) Fogarty is the Head of S-RM’s Disputes & Investigations Practice for the Americas. He is an expert in matters related to regulatory compliance, crisis management/reputational protection, complex internal and external frauds, FCPA/ABAC investigations, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing, OFAC-related matters, investigative due diligence, business intelligence, and asset tracing investigations.  Rich has led hundreds of investigations in Latin America, the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and has worked on a variety of complex investigations for international corporations, wealthy families and individuals, and law firms throughout the globe.   Rich began his career as an examining attorney and investigator with the New York City Department of Investigation. In this position, he conducted criminal investigations, covering employee fraud and theft, bribery, organised crime-related activities, public and union corruption, and administrative disciplinary actions.                                                           
Amy  Francis

Amy Francis

Amy leads the Digital Forensics practice at S-RM. She has extensive experience leading complex investigations into corporate and white-collar crime including intellectual property theft, fraud, employee misconduct and insider threats. Amy also supports private clients with litigation and bespoke investigations including commercial and financial disputes and criminal defence. Amy has served as an expert witness in civil and criminal proceedings, including the high-profile Wirecard fraud matter, testifying on complex issues including the authenticity and provenance of documents, and the attribution of fraudulent activity.  She has specialised expertise in the forensic analysis of computers, mobile devices and cloud-based evidence. 
Septimus Knox

Septimus Knox

Septimus is the Deputy Head of S-RM’s Disputes & Investigations practice and oversees all the firm’s disputes work relating to the former Soviet Union. His clients include government agencies, global corporations, leading business figures and family offices. He regularly works in, and helps assemble, multidisciplinary teams comprising outside counsel, funders, expert witnesses, communications experts, digital forensics investigators and cyber practitioners. Septimus has wide-ranging experience of gathering intelligence and evidence in the most challenging environments, using a combination of OSINT, human intelligence, eDiscovery and digital forensics.   His work has been used to support litigation and arbitration relating to JV disputes, sanctions, fraud, asset recovery, ESG issues, contentious insurance claims and investor-state disputes. He has also managed internal investigations into employee misconduct, IP theft and insider threats.  
Yannine Pasula

Yannine Pasula

Director, Disputes & Investigations Yannine has extensive experience as a forensic accountant providing investigative and risk management services to a wide variety of corporate clients. She utilizes forensic accounting and interviewing techniques, data analytics, corporate intelligence, and eDiscovery tools to assist clients in mitigating legal and regulatory risks. Yannine leads cross-border investigations and proactive compliance projects related to fraud, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption matters, including those involving the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. She has assisted counsel in the preparation of analyses and other information used during settlement negotiations with the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Results from these investigations have assisted clients in the successful resolution of criminal and civil matters and in the enhancement of their compliance programs. Yannine has also assisted companies with internal control assessments, fraud risk evaluations, and reviews of bribery and corruption risks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide compliance program enhancements. During her career, Yannine has also provided dispute advisory services and has performed financial statement and internal audits.
