Born in 1982 and admitted to the Bar in 2009, I am the founder of Lawrence, a boutique law firm for Data (Protection), AI & Tech. I believe that regulation should accelerate innovation, not hinder it. With deep expertise in the AI Act, Data Act, DORA, NIS2 and GDPR, I combine legal precision with creativity, bold vision and authentic human connection. My mission is to build a new generation boutique law firm where excellence is defined by knowledge, courage and integrity.

"He began his career as a lawyer at a medium-sized law firm, focusing on corporate law and commercial contracts. He then worked as a senior IT and privacy lawyer at a leading international internet service provider and an international insurance company (NN Group NV).

In 2020, Jeroen founded Lawrence, a boutique advisory firm specializing in data protection and privacy law in M&A transactions. After a stint as partner at another IT& Privacy boutique law firm (2023-2026), Jeroen continued his practice together with junior associate Robert-Guillaume Chin A Sen under Lawrence, with a sharp focus on Data (Protection), AI & Tech."

Jeroen is the father of a daughter (born in 2012) and a passionate wine and music lover. He used to be a musician and played all the major venues in the Netherlands, including the famous Paradiso in Amsterdam as a headliner. His music and the band's videos were frequently played on national radio and television (including TMF/3FM).
