About
Founded in 2019, Dayston is a Guadalajara business law firm advising domestic and international companies, family-controlled enterprises and high-net-worth individuals. The Firm is built around a single idea: that a company's corporate and fiscal position and the patrimonial interests of the family behind it are one problem, not three, and are best advised on together. In practice that means a client receives one coordinated position rather than a set of opinions that have to be reconciled afterwards.
The Firm's capabilities span domestic and international taxation and tax litigation, corporate and business law, corporate governance, and private wealth and succession planning, supported by practices in banking and finance, foreign investment, regulatory compliance and labour and employment. Its distinguishing work lies in succession and patrimonial planning, where family protocols, holding structures and trusts are designed together with their fiscal treatment rather than after it, and in contentious tax matters, where the Firm represents medium-sized companies and multinational groups in high-stakes disputes. Clients are concentrated in the technology, financial, fintech, healthcare, hotel & leisure, real estate, tequila & spirits, food & agroindustry and transportation sectors, alongside family enterprises across Mexico and international groups establishing operations in Mexico.
The Firm is the Mexican member of the Alliance of Business Lawyers, a global network of independent business law firms. hrough the network it coordinates cross-border mandates and acts as Mexican counsel to foreign companies investing in the country.
