Peter Goldson is the Firm’s Senior Partner and Head of its Intellectual Property Practice, with over three decades of experience advising on complex commercial, regulatory, and transactional matters. A former Managing Partner and Head of the Commercial Department, he is widely regarded as one of Jamaica’s most respected corporate lawyers.

  • Led MFG’s role in the proposed divestment of Jamaica’s sugar industry assets
    • Advised the University of the West Indies on procurement and construction of a LNG-powered cogeneration facility
    • Counsel to Tavistock on the Harmony Cove hotel and casino development
    • Led the Cable & Wireless (Jamaica) Limited scheme of arrangement and JSE delisting
    • Key adviser in multiple banking interventions and restructurings, including Century National Bank, Workers’ Savings & Loan Bank and FINSAC-related transactions
