Orçun Turan’s practice mainly concentrates on banking and finance law, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets law and competition law.
Orçun also provides consultancy services to various companies within the scope of their governance and their daily activities and has experience with respect to corporate consultancy.
PROJECTS
Finance: Orçun has represented both lenders and borrowers in a variety of energy, infrastructure, and acquisition financing transactions and restructuring transactions. In this context, he has drafted and negotiated loan agreements and security documents as well as other financing documentation and has played an active role in the successful closing of the financing projects in which he has been involved in.
Mergers and Acquisitions: Orçun has represented both buyer and seller parties in the merger and acquisition transactions of both public and non-public companies’ shares. During the acquisition processes, he took part in the due diligence phases, preparation of the Competition Board applications and transaction documents and in the closing of the transactions.
Capital Markets: Orçun has represented both issuers and underwriters in a variety of initial and secondary public offerings and capital markets instruments issuances. In this context, he has drafted and negotiated transaction documents, he has taken part in legal due diligence and reporting processes, and played a key role in the completion of the related transactions.
Other: Orçun has provided legal support to companies in the preparation and negotiation of various types of commercial contracts, and various compliance, real estate law, sanctions law, intellectual property law, corporate law and corporate governance issues.
