    Position

Eric Hudson is a seasoned litigation partner at Arambula Terrazas PLLC, with more than seventeen years of experience in complex commercial, construction, and employment disputes, constitutional challenges, and high-stakes appellate advocacy. Serving as first-chair counsel across administrative, arbitration, and state and federal trial and appellate courts, Eric has consistently achieved favorable outcomes for his clients, including winning verdicts, arbitration awards, and appellate rulings.

Most recently, Eric secured a favorable AAA arbitration award for a general contractor under breach of contract and Texas Prompt Payment Act theories, and obtained temporary and preliminary injunctive relief in federal court to prevent a defendant corporation from dissipating assets pre-trial.  His appellate work includes amicus curiae representation before the U.S. Supreme Court, and advocacy before the Texas Supreme Court and Fifth Circuit on significant constitutional and policy issues.

Immediately before joining Arambula Terrazas, Eric was Senior Special Counsel in the Texas Attorney General’s Special Litigation Unit, where he represented the State of Texas in critical constitutional and election cases.  He earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and a B.S. in Economics with honors from the University of Houston.  Eric is admitted to practice in Texas and New Mexico (inactive) and is qualified to appear before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit, and all federal courts in Texas.

Eric is a Texas Bar Foundation fellow and is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Federalist Society and the Texas State Bar's Appellate and Construction Sections. Known for his strategic insight, meticulous approach, and unwavering commitment to client success, Eric’s reputation has made him a sought-after advocate in all stages of litigation.
