Position
Gabriel Hsieh is the Managing Partner of Brainberg Law Firm and a leading practitioner in construction, infrastructure, energy and public procurement law. He advises employers, contractors, developers and investors on complex EPC, PPP/BOT, transportation, airport, offshore wind and LNG projects. Gabriel has extensive experience in contract negotiation, claims management, dispute avoidance, mediation, arbitration and litigation. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator for various construction and procurement dispute resolution institutions in Taiwan, and is actively involved in professional associations relating to construction and infrastructure law.
Career
Gabriel Hsieh is the Managing Partner of Brainberg Law Firm. He received his LL.B. degree from National Chengchi University and holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from National Taiwan University. Combines legal and engineering expertise to advise clients on complex construction, infrastructure, energy, transportation, urban renewal, and real estate projects.
Gabriel regularly advises developers, contractors, investors, and project owners on project development, procurement, contract negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution. His experience covers large-scale public and private projects, including airports, MRT systems, railways, offshore wind farms, LNG facilities, data centers, and other major infrastructure developments.
He is a Director and Arbitrator of the Chinese Arbitration Association, Taipei (CAA), a Supervisor and Arbitrator of the Chinese Construction Industry Arbitration Association, a Procurement Appeal Mediator for the Taoyuan City Government, and a Director of the Taiwan Construction Law Association. Gabriel is widely recognized for his expertise in construction and infrastructure disputes and frequently acts as counsel in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
