Peter specialises in data protection law, with a particular focus on data-driven marketing, AI, cookies and similar technologies, devices, as well as operational compliance.

Peter is deeply specialised within the aforementioned areas and has worked exclusively with data protection law, including the GDPR, since 2016, in connection with a wide range of related regulations, including the Danish Executive Cookie Order, the Danish Marketing Practices Act, the AI Act, the Data Act and the many other EU Directives and Regulations that have been developed as part of the EU’s digital strategy.

Peter advises his clients on a wide range of data protection legal issues, where his experience and commercial understanding enable him to bridge the gap between commercial interests and legal requirements.

Peter has previously been seconded to the Maersk Group, where, as Chief Data Privacy Compliance Officer, he was responsible for implementing the Group’s authority-approved Binding Corporate Rules.

Peter is often used as a speaker, particularly when it comes to data-driven marketing.
