Career
Henrique has extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions, project structuring and development, as well as complex regulatory and transactional matters.
He has worked on major operations related to the exploration and production of oil and natural gas, with solid experience in farm-in/farm-out operations, concession and production sharing contracts, as well as commercial and operational contracts typical of the industry. Henrique has also closely followed the evolution of the natural gas market and the opportunities offered by the energy transition, including the adaptation of traditional business models to a decarbonization scenario. His experience covers pioneer industry projects, including LNG terminals, natural gas storage, small-scale LNG, access to natural gas flow and processing infrastructures, among others.
He has proven expertise in advising domestic and foreign companies on domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions, including projects in Brazil, Argentina, Suriname, Guyana, Uruguay, Mexico, Canada, South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Namibia and Ivory Coast. As part of his international experience, Henrique was Senior Counsel, based in London, at a major global energy/oil and gas company, where he led negotiations for the acquisition of several strategic global assets. Rojas was also Regional Manager of the Brazil-Mozambique Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture - CCIABM.
