Career
Kate has worked as a corporate healthcare solicitor for over 14 years, acting on the sale and purchase of care homes, veterinary surgeries, opticians, and pharmacies as well as the merging of GP practices. Her specialism is in the sale and purchase of dental practices across England and Wales.
Kate has acted on over 300 dental practice deals with most, if not all, of her work coming from recommendations. Her work has included acting for dental corporates, as well as advising retiring dentists and first-time buyers.
Kate trained at a regional Yorkshire firm, specialising in corporate healthcare work dealing with the group acquisitions of care homes. She qualified as a solicitor in March 2008. Kate joined Carter Bond in January 2022 as a partner in the Corporate Commercial department, having previously worked at a specialist legal firm for dentists, as a director overseeing one of its branch offices
