Jiří  Krejča

Jiří Krejča

Jiří is a junior lawyer who has been working at the law firm FINREG PARTNERS since 2025. Jiří graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. Prior to joining FINREG PARTNERS, he worked as a junior lawyer in a leading international law firm specializing in M&A, personal data protection, intellectual property and labor law. Jiří also gained significant experience at a Czech law firm specializing in general practice, with a particular emphasis on GDPR, copyright, and commercial law. In addition to his legal education, Jiří was a teacher and taught mathematics and English.
Ondřej Mikula

Ondřej Mikula

Partner / Co-founder Envelope Ondřej Mikula is an attorney-at-law and the co-founder of FINREG PARTNERS law firm. He is specialized in the regulation of financial and investment services, FinTech, AML/CFT, blockchain and STO, banking and finance, capital markets, including issues of notes and other securities, corporate law and M&A. Before founding FINREG PARTNERS he worked in one of the biggest Czech law firms Kocián Šolc Balaštík (KSB), where he advised Czech and international clients in respect of domestic or cross-border issues of bonds and other (hybrid) financial instruments as well as large loan transactions and M&A. He also participated on the implementation of key pieces of financial regulation (particularly MiFID II or MCD) at Czech banks and other financial markets participants. Ondřej is an author or co-author of many important legal publications, including the only up-to-date commentary on Czech Management Companies and Investment Funds Act or the best-selling commentary on the Civil Code. He also runs seminars and lectures at Czech law schools focusing on the legal aspects of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, FinTech and other related matters.
Pavla Ševčíková

Pavla Ševčíková

Pavla is Of Counsel at FINREG PARTNERS. She specializes in private equity, venture capital transactions and M&A. She provides comprehensive legal advice to investors as well as start-ups in connection with capital transactions and acquisitions. Pavla has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly involving financial and technology companies. Before establishing her own practice, she spent ten years in this field within the PPF Group as a legal manager, and prior to that worked as an attorney at an international law firm. She has been involved in numerous domestic and cross-border transactions across the EU, the United States and several Asian jurisdictions. Pavla has experience leading transaction and negotiation teams, coordinating regulatory communications and managing the full transaction process — from initial structuring to final contract execution and post-closing integration of target companies. Pavla also advises start-ups and their founders, particularly on capital raising, setting up relationships with investors and key employees, and developing exit strategies. She also focuses on negotiating Czech and international joint venture transactions. She helps clients design optimal cooperation frameworks, structure partner relationships, ensure regulatory compliance and prepare the documentation necessary for the effective operation of joint ventures.
Petra Šimůnková

Petra Šimůnková

Petra Šimůnková is a lawyer who specializes in payment and investment services, FinTech, real estate law and litigation at the law firm FINREG PARTNERS. Before joining FINREG PARTNERS, she worked for several years in the leading Czech large law firms. She has provided and continues to provide legal advice to leading Czech financial institutions and fintech startups. Petra also has years of experience with German-speaking foreign clients, on account of her excellent knowledge of professional German gained during an internship in a law firm in Germany.

Jan Šovar

Partner / Co-founder Jan Šovar is an attorney-at-law and the co-founder of FINREG PARTNERS law firm. He focuses on the regulation of the financial sector, securities, FinTech, blockchain and STO, payment and banking services, investment services, investment funds and asset management. Before FINREG PARTNERS he worked for one of the biggest Czech law firms Kocián Šolc Balaštík (KSB) and also for the predecessor of ESMA in Paris and for Deutsche Bank in London. For many years he also led the Czech capital markets legislation at the Ministry of Finance where he supervised the preparation of key legislative proposals in the area of capital markets (particularly the Czech Management Companies and Investment Funds Act and the legislation on bonds issuance). Jan is a well-known author of many important legal publications, including the only up-to-date commentary on Czech Management Companies and Investment Funds Act, commentary on the Capital Market Undertakings Act or the best-selling commentary on the Civil Code. Apart from other lectures and presentations in the Czech Republic and abroad, he also runs seminars and other lectures at Czech law schools with respect to blockchain, cryptocurrencies, FinTech and other related matters.
Denis  Tichánek

Denis Tichánek

Denis Tichánek is an attorney-at-law who has been working at FINREG PARTNERS since 2020. He focuses mainly on the regulation of the capital markets and provision of investment services. Denis completed his studies at the Faculty of Law of the Masaryk University in Brno with a final thesis on the Applicability of European Insider Dealing Regulation to Particular High-Frequency Strategies. Before joining our law firm, he worked at leading Czech law firm with international focus. He gained valuable experience during his student exchange program in Argentina. He speaks English and Spanish fluently and focuses on the provision of services not only for Czech, but also for foreign clients of the firm.
Oliver  Zrno

Oliver Zrno

Oliver Zrno is an associate at FINREG PARTNERS. He specializes in legal aspects of financial innovations and capital markets. Oliver graduated the Faculty of Law at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, while also gaining experience by studying abroad at the University of Tartu in Estonia where he focused on European law, e-governance, business litigation and change management. Before joining FINREG PARTNERS he was working at the Ministry of Czech Republic with the Capital markets and Financial Innovation unit, where he gained experience in regulatory aspects of several financial Innovation areas, such as decentralised finance, use cases of artificial intelligence in finance or use cases of the distributed ledger technology, while also gaining experience in emerging regulation of capital markets and investment funds.
