Ilan Cohn PhD is a Partner at Cohn, de Vries, Stadler & Co. (Herzog Patents), bringing over three decades of leadership in intellectual property to his practice.

Ilan is particularly sought after for his expertise in constructing business-forward IP strategy and generating IP assets as a driver of enterprise value. He advises founders, venture capital and private equity investors, research institutes, and multinational companies on IP-driven transactions, licensing, enforcement, freedom-to-operate analyses, technology transfer, and high-stakes IP due diligence and patent monetization.

His practice is multidisciplinary, with a strong focus on life sciences, pharma, biotech, MedTech, agritech, food technologies, renewable energy, water technologies, and engineering.
