  • Acting for the successful buyers in a distressed asset purchase from an EU-based private equity fund. Ioanna Dimopoulou
  • Acting for owners in a very substantial claim against charterers concerning a vessel cargo hold explosion during a sea voyage caused by the shipment of undeclared dangerous cargoes. Antonis Lagadianos
  • Acting for the owners of three vessels in multi-jurisdictional enforcement proceedings against their defaulting charterers. Antonis Lagadianos
  • Acting for the buyers of newbuilding ice-classed bulk carrier vessels in connection with the shipbuilding contracts, delivery documentation and the vessels’ registration under the buyers’ flag(s) of choice. Ioanna Dimopoulou
  • Involved with a series of O.W. Bunker cases resulting in The Res Cogitans test case going to the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2016. Evangelos Catsambas & Anastasia Dola
  • Acted in a case concerning fraudulent bills of lading where a worldwide freezing injunction was obtained for the vessel’s owners and handled the multi-jurisdictional aspects arising out of this. Antonis Lagadianos & Anastasia Dola
