Managing Partner

Shiju Veetil is the Managing Partner of IndiaLaw LLP and a key force in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and growth. He established the firm’s non-litigation practice, which he continues to lead with a focus on quality, innovation, and client-centricity.

Shiju heads the Corporate, M&A, and Insolvency & Bankruptcy verticals and brings extensive experience in complex domestic and cross-border transactions. He regularly advises acquirers, investors, and promoters on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and joint ventures across a broad range of industries.

A pioneer of the firm’s Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice, Shiju has led numerous high-profile matters under the IBC, representing lenders, promoters, resolution applicants, and liquidators. His strategic counsel has helped position IndiaLaw LLP as a leading player in insolvency and restructuring.

He has also been instrumental in establishing the firm’s highly regarded real estate practice and has a strong track record in infrastructure and project advisory. Shiju has advised on large-scale PPP projects, concession agreements, and EPC contracts, including drafting model concession agreements for government authorities.

An alumnus of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Shiju is widely recognised for his legal acumen, commercial insight, and visionary leadership in driving IndiaLaw LLP’s continued success.
