Yousef Al Sanea is the Managing Partner of Yaqoub Al-Sanea & Partners, where he leads the firm's continued development as a full-service Kuwaiti practice with an expanding focus on corporate, transactional and cross-border matters.

Having joined the firm in 2014, Yousef has developed a multidisciplinary practice spanning corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, arbitration, private negotiations and commercial dispute resolution. He advises businesses and institutional clients on complex legal and commercial matters, with particular experience in the financial services and telecommunications sectors.

As Managing Partner, Yousef is closely involved in the firm's strategic direction and its evolution in response to Kuwait's changing business and regulatory environment. His focus includes strengthening the firm's corporate and capital markets capabilities, developing international relationships, embracing legal technology and positioning the firm to support increasingly sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions.

Yousef is recognised by IFLR1000 as a Notable Practitioner for Corporate and M&A in Kuwait. He is also a certified arbitrator with the Kuwait Bar Association and has held several leadership positions within Kuwait's legal and professional community, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Bar Association Arbitration Center and the Kuwait Bar Institute, as well as heading the Kuwait Bar Association's SME Committee.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Ajman University and works in both Arabic and English.
