AbdulAhad Abou Rhab is Director of Legal Affairs and Legal Consultant at Dr. Yaqoub Al Sanea & Partners. He has more than 18 years of legal experience and has been with the firm since January 2011.

He has a central role in the management and technical supervision of the firm’s contentious practice. He coordinates the work of legal teams, develops litigation strategies and reviews pleadings, statements of claim, appeals and other substantive legal submissions.

AbdulAhad advises companies and institutions on complex commercial, civil, construction, contractual, administrative and employment matters. His experience also includes proceedings involving questions of criminal law and the preparation of matters referred to court-appointed experts and other judicial or administrative authorities.

He has particular experience in restructuring and insolvency under Kuwait Law No. 71 of 2020. His work includes preparing and supervising preventive settlement and restructuring plans for major companies and supporting proceedings before the Bankruptcy Court through to the judicial ratification of those plans.

Alongside his disputes practice, AbdulAhad advises on corporate and commercial matters, drafts and reviews a broad range of contracts, and assists clients with corporate governance, regulatory compliance and the development of internal legal policies.
