Career
Stanley is a dual-qualified legal practitioner, admitted as a Barrister of England and Wales and as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He currently serves as a senior associate with a practice that spans a wide range of legal areas, including debt recovery, labour law, oil and gas law, banking regulation, fintech and anti-money laundering regulation, land law, family and matrimonial causes, probate and the administration of estates, immigration law, corporate and commercial compliance, and international trade and intellectual property law.
With over seven years of experience in legal practice in Ghana, Stanley has played a pivotal role in a broad range of client instructions. His work has included litigation in land disputes, debt recovery, corporate compliance, commercial disputes, immigration matters, and energy-related issues. In addition to his strong legal acumen, Stanley leads the firm’s efforts in advising clients on international trade matters, particularly involving jurisdictions in Africa and the Caribbean. He is fluent in English and Ga, his native tongue and holds memberships with the Honourable Society of Middle Temple, the Ghana Bar Association, and the Ghana Chamber of Commerce Guyana (where he holds the position as the President) . Stanley holds an LL.B from the University of Kent, completed the BPTC at Nottingham Trent University, pursued a Post-Call Law Course at the Ghana School of Law, and obtained a Certificate in Petroleum Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
He has, in addition to his strong legal competence, taken on a role as the firms lead in undertaking and advising the firms clients on trade related matters pertaining to the Africa and the Caribbean specifically.
