Nick Lovegrove

Tony Nicholson

Tony is a specialist property, real estate and construction lawyer. He acts for both corporates and high net worth private clients on the acquisition, development, leasing, management and disposition of major commercial projects. He has extensive experience in all types of leasing (commercial, retail and industrial), property joint ventures, subdivisions and infrastructure and mining projects. Tony has acted for numerous foreign investors who have purchased, developed or invested in real estate in New Zealand. He also has an interest in the marine industry having acted for foreign purchasers on the construction and acquisition of super yachts in New Zealand.

Hayden is a partner at Burton Partners, where he advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. His principal focus is on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, capital raisings, investment structuring and corporate advisory. He also has expertise drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including supply, distribution and manufacturing arrangements. Hayden’s experience covers a number of industry sectors, including recently advising clients in the food processing, heavy industry, hospitality & leisure, technology and retail sectors. Hayden prides himself on taking a results-orientated approach, supporting his clients to manage legal risk and meet commercial objectives.
