Pierpaolo Maio has extensive experience in Digital Compliance, Life Sciences, Data Protection, and EduTech, with a particular focus on Italian and European regulatory aspects of data governance, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and Digital Health.

He assists healthcare facilities, technology companies, and life sciences organizations in defining integrated compliance strategies, dealing extensively with GDPR, AI Act, Data Act, NIS2, and Legislative Decree 231/2001, with a specific focus on issues related to document management and storage, personal and corporate data protection, clinical trials, medical devices, and digital marketing.

He is a speaker at legal and industry seminars in Italy and abroad and participates as a lecturer in master’s and postgraduate training programs.

He is registered with the Rome Bar Association.
