Career
Shreni heads the Dispute Resolution practice at ANB Legal across all its six offices in India, where she leads a dynamic, highly skilled, and accomplished team dedicated to managing some of the most complex and high-value disputes encountered in contemporary legal practice. Her practice operates seamlessly across both domestic and international arenas, reflecting the increasingly cross-border nature of commercial disputes in today's interconnected global economy. She advises and represents clients across the full spectrum of complex, multi jurisdictional, cross border and high-value issues.
Her sector experience is wide-ranging, spanning industries such as infrastructure, energy, construction, financial services, real estate, technology, and more, enabling her to bring genuine commercial understanding of each unique situation. Shreni has been involved in several reported judgments and landmark decisions across various judicial fora, a distinction that speaks to both the complexity of the matters she handles and the quality of her legal reasoning. From the earliest stages of pre-dispute risk identification, contractual analysis, and strategy formulation, through to active representation at the highest levels of judicial and quasi-judicial fora, including briefing of counsels for the same, she provides clients with consistent, high-quality guidance at every critical juncture.
A substantial and particularly distinguished part of her practice is dedicated to arbitrations, with speciality in construction arbitrations, which has grown to become one of the defining pillars of her professional profile. Shreni and her team have acted as counsel in a significant number of domestic and international arbitrations, conducted on both ad hoc and institutional bases, across a wide variety of subject matters, governing laws, and procedural rules. She has extensive and hands-on experience with some of the world's most prominent arbitral institutions, including the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA), and the Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (JAMS), among others. Her familiarity with the procedural frameworks, cultures, and expectations of these institutions enables her to manage international arbitration proceedings with confidence and strategic foresight.Complementing her role as counsel, Shreni is also regularly appointed as an arbitrator in domestic and international disputes — a recognition that places her among a select group of practitioners trusted to discharge the responsibilities of a neutral decision-maker in high-stakes proceedings.
