Associate

Mariana is an associate at García Barragán Abogados and leads the Health Records area within the Intellectual Property department. She advises companies on regulatory and intellectual property matters related to the manufacture, import, and commercialization of products subject to sanitary control in Mexico, including pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, cosmetics, and medical devices. Her experience includes reviewing labeling, packaging, and advertising materials to ensure compliance with Mexican Official Standards (NOMs) and applicable regulations. She also has a background in research, bioethics, and human rights, and has worked with leading companies in the pharmaceutical, food, and direct sales sectors.
