The firm has a particular regional expertise in Latin America.  Its lawyers have been at the forefront of the development of international capital markets in the region, including advising on the first IPOs from Brazil and Mexico in the United States and other groundbreaking transactions.  In addition, its lawyers were involved in the development of the venture capital industry in the region, assisting the first tech unicorns with their exits, advising the first venture capital funds and accelerators that focused on Latin America, and pioneering the use of the ‘Cayman-Delaware Sandwich’ holding company-structure that is ubiquitous for cross-border startups today.

Main Areas of Practice

Litigation:  PAG Law handles litigation and arbitration involving a wide variety of issues, including securities, M&A, shareholder derivative claims, general commercial disputes, and intellectual property.
