Career
Estuardo is an associate of ALTA Guatemala in the area of negotiations, conciliations, mediations, trials and arbitrations in Guatemala and internationally. Estuardo has acted as an advisory lawyer in various technical and legal matters related to the electrical, mining, construction, telecommunications, food and pharmaceutical industries.
He has also advised clients on matters such as the interpretation, breach and termination of distribution contracts, supply, leasing, software and hardware development and implementation, and complex transactions.
Providing support and successfully directing multiple agents in the Guatemalan and Central American electricity sector in crisis management and interpretation of power and energy purchase and sale contracts (PPAs) in trials, arbitrations and negotiations.
He is currently an assistant professor at the Rafael Landívar University in the chair of Alternative Dispute Resolution and a coach, and selector of participating teams at the Francisco Marroquín University in international competitions of international commercial arbitration (Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot Court) and international arbitration investment (CAII).
