Position

James Clark is a litigator with over 10 years of experience handling complex, high-value commercial disputes, with a particular focus on civil fraud matters.

James has a broad practice that includes asset tracing, fraud, contentious insolvency, shareholder disputes, and sanctions. He has significant experience in both obtaining and resisting interim remedies, such as worldwide freezing injunctions and asset disclosure orders. He advises and represents clients in court and arbitral proceedings.

Many of James’ cases involve cross-border disputes, and he frequently works with lawyers in other jurisdictions.

His recent highlights include representing Mr Oleg Deripaska in the successful defence of committal proceedings and representing one of the world’s largest financial derivatives providers in connection with a multi-jurisdictional fraud dispute.
