He represented a subcontractor who sued the main contractor regarding outstanding payment for work carried out in Gurkhas Construction Ltd. v Craft Façade Tech (Hong Kong) Co Ltd. Ronald Pang is particularly skilled in disputes involving rural land and multi-storey buildings, which is demonstrated by his acting for the respondent in The Incorporated Owners of Walton Estate v Yan Yan Car Company and Hong Kong Flute Centre & Music Co Ltd, a dispute concerning the collection and apportionment of management fees. The members at Pantheon Chambers practice in a diverse area of law and specialise in the following specific areas (in alphabetical order): Arbitration (both domestic and international; administered under the auspices of various arbitral institutions and ad-hoc), building management, commercial, contract, company, competition, construction, defamation, intellectual property, international trade, land and easements, matrimonial, mediation, mental health, personal and corporate insolvency, petty and serious crime, probate and estate administration, sale of goods, and trust and equity.
Members are regularly appointed as mediators and arbitrators, as well as in the Court of Final Appeal, various tribunals, panels, appeal tribunals, committees in practice areas of the Hong Kong Bar Association, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (East Asia Branch). They are frequently instructed to give advice on disputes and non-contentious matters such as transactions and pre and post listing matters involving companies listed on both the HKEX and NYSE.
