Sandra Tubert

Sandra Tubert is the co-founder and partner of Algo Avocats and head of the firm’s Data Protection & Privacy practice. Sandra is a recognised expert in data protection and privacy law, with a practice dedicated to data protection matters since 2013. She advises both French and international clients on strategic, technical and high-risk privacy issues. Her in-house experience through secondments gives her a practical and business-oriented approach that is highly valued by corporate clients. She regularly assists clients on: GDPR compliance programs and internal audits; Drafting of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and feasibility studies, particularly where emerging technologies (AI, big data, IoT) are involved; Digital marketing compliance (cookies, profiling, targeted advertising, web-push, etc.); Sector-specific compliance challenges and requirements (e.g. in healthcare, open data, advertising and telecommunications); Compliance programs related to new regulations, including in cybersecurity and AI (Data Act, NIS 2 Directive, DORA, Cyber Resilience Act, AI Act, etc) Security incident and data breaches, including notification strategies and remediation plans; Drafting and negotiation of Data Protection Agreements (DPAs, joint controllership) and Market Data Agreements (related to the use and sharing of non-personal data) Cross-border data transfers, including the use of SCCs, BCRs frameworks; Investigations and enforcement actions by the CNIL, including on-site audits and formal notices; Litigation cases, providing full representation before the CNIL and French courts.

Laura Ziegler is the co-founder and partner of Algo Avocats and leads the firm’s IT and Digital practice. Laura is a recognized expert in IT law, with a practice dedicated to IT and digital law since 2011, with a strong emphasis on contractual, regulatory and strategic advisory work. Her deep understanding of the tech ecosystem is reinforced by multiple in-house secondments in leading corporations, where she gained first-hand insight into operational challenges, internal decision-making processes, and business priorities. She regularly advises on: the structuring and negotiation of complex digital transformation projects, including outsourcing, cloud computing, agile co-development and R&D partnerships; the contractual architecture and go-to-market models for software and platform providers, particularly in the AI, SaaS an d blockchain sectors; software distribution and resale networks, including indirect sales channels involving GAFAM technologies; clients facing or conducting software license audits; compliance with sector-specific IT regulations and emerging legislation such as the AI Act, NIS2, DORA, and CRA; pre-litigation and litigation in cases involving failed IT projects, software licensing issues, cyber incidents and internet liability.
