Stan specializes in advising stakeholders in stressed and distressed businesses focusing on solvent turnarounds or insolvent solutions across a wide range of sectors. He also acts regularly as a bankruptcy receiver in (corporate) insolvencies and is appointed as such by the Courts of First Instance in the Dutch Caribbean (Bonaire, Curaçao and St. Maarten).

Stan has over ten years of experience as an attorney and works across the Dutch Caribbean since 2016. In 2020, he joined HBN Law and Tax.

In 2019, Stan completed the specialization course insolvency law at the Grotius Academy, the Netherlands. Since then, he is a member of INSOLAD, the specialist association for insolvency lawyers.

In addition, at the end of 2022 Stan completed the Financial Economics for Bankruptcy Trustees course successfully at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
