Chris is partner at HBN Law & Tax and specializes in corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration. He also has extensive experience in corporate inquiry proceedings (enquete-procedures).

Chris is involved in litigious matters in both the Dutch Caribbean and the Netherlands. His clients include companies in the energy, telecommunications and financial sectors.

Clients appreciate Chris because of his strong litigation skills, extensive knowledge and keen intelligence.

Chris has written articles for a variety of Dutch legal publications. In addition, he has lectured corporate law for the Dutch Bar training program, for the University of Curaçao and for the Center for Postgraduate Education of the Radboud University, Nijmegen.

Chris obtained his Masters’ degree at the University of Groningen (cum laude) and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Litigation at the Grotius Academy (cum laude).

Chris has registered corporate law, contract law and civil litigation as his principal legal practices in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas.
