Advised client on transaction for raising hybrid, pre- series A funding from multiple angel investors and assisted in mandatory investment compliances in India.

Represented Credochain in Dun & Bradstreet’s acquisition of rights in the credit decision and analytics platform of Credochain and provided end-to-end documentation and legal compliances for the acquisition.

Assisted Credochain in on-boarding of Mr Vikas Jain as its Co-founder who would be serving in the capacity of a Chief Operating Officer.

2. Reeudo Forex Services Private Limited

Assisted client in obtaining full-fledged money changer license with Reserve Bank of India. AK & Partners also advised and represented Reeudo Forex for their seed fund investment round and assisted in obtaining registration from RBI. The advisory and transactions team consisted of Partners Anuroop Omkar and Kritika Krishnamurthy. Reeudo Forex Services Private Limited (“Reeudo Forex”), raised an undisclosed amount of funds in its seed investment round through various private and institutional investors.

It is our retainer client. We regularly advise them on product structuring, compliance requirements and regulatory updates, foreign exchange related requirement for debt funding and royalty payment transactions. We also advise them on the operations of the fintech operated by them and pre-paid instrument related compliance and regulatory requirements as applicable on payment systems.

It is our retainer client. We regularly advise them on RBI regulations, data protection framework, contract negotiation and provide legal advisory on related matters as and when required.

It is also a retainer client. The client is a systematic important Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC)- ND-SI.

We provide strategic and regulatory advice to the client. We also assist them in product structuring, and provide high level advisory in setting up their ancillary insurance business. The firm also advices the client on matters related to data protection from time to time.

6. Federal Bank Limited

Assisted the client on first time issue of credit cards in India. It involved providing high-level strategic advisory, contract negotiations& transactions and end-to-end closing documentation.

7. FincFriends Private Limited

Client was assisted by the firm in getting its bank accounts defreezed in a record time of 10 days. The firm assisted and advised in filing of the necessary correspondence with Economic Offences Wing, Central Civic Board, Bangalore that froze the accounts of client owning to illegal usage of client’s logo and name by a third party.
