Esteban is an associate in our firm.

Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public, graduated from Universidad Francisco Marroquín (2024) with cum laude honors. He represented Universidad Francisco Marroquín at the International Investment Arbitration Competition in Bogotá, Colombia (2021) and received an honorable mention for the memorial submitted. He has been an active member of the Guatemalan Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados y Notarios de Guatemala) since 2025.

His practice is primarily focused on strategic litigation. In his day-to-day, he specializes in analyzing commercial and criminal law matters. He advises clients in the business, education, banking, healthcare, and energy sectors. In 2023, he played an instrumental role in the country’s first conviction for the crime of violation of sexual intimacy.

He currently serves as an adjunct teaching assistant at Universidad Francisco Marroquín (2025–present). He teaches the following courses: (a) Constitutionalism and the Constitutional State; (b) General Theory of Crime; (c) Fundamental Rights; and (d) Criminal Actors. He is a founding member of the University’s Law & Liberty Book Club.

Esteban will pursue an L.L.M and a Wharton Business and Law Certificate at the University of Pennsylvania starting August, 2026.
