Gary P. Brackett is a corporate attorney who advises private companies, founders, and investors on various transactional and corporate matters.

His work includes mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings and corporate governance. Gary regularly works with early-stage and growth companies on entity formation, funding strategies and commercial agreements. He also serves as outside general counsel to closely held businesses in industries such as healthcare, professional services, home services and manufacturing.

Before joining Offit Kurman, Gary was a corporate group member at a respected boutique firm in Charlotte, NC, where he advised privately held companies, founders, and investors on corporate transactions and governance. He began his legal career in fund finance at a major international law firm, representing institutional lenders in subscription credit facilities for private equity funds. His legal experience is further enriched by a background in advertising and marketing, giving him a well-rounded perspective on business and strategy.
