Gensei has involved in a wide range of civil and criminal litigations, domestic affair cases, and bankruptcy cases as a lawyer. In particular, he focused on consumer issues such as investment damage relief and contract disputes, and was also active as a member of the Consumer Affairs Committee of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations. He also has extensive experience in conducting surveys and managing conferences on the operational results of laws and regulations as the secretariat of the Consumer Commission, Cabinet Office, Government of Japan.
