‘I can’t thank Nina Benest enough for all her support, hard work and dedication to helping me and my family get the result that we had only dreamed of. ‘A massive shout-out to Clare Woodhouse. This was a very emotional time for us in a horribly complicated family situation. From day one Clare’s knowledge of family law on our island and the professional advice she was able to give us made us feel in very safe hands and we felt privileged to have her on board.’

‘I have been kept informed at every point of my case and have had regular meetings to discuss options at every point. They have also been very realistic about outcomes and allowed me to be the driving force, I have never felt at any point pressured to continue. They have shown genuine empathy during a very difficult time.’

Benest & Syvret is highly regarded for providing meaningful assistance to clients who come to us at life’s defining moments. Our practice combines personal service with unparalleled attention to detail and that is what sets it apart from other firms. Our partners have had the opportunity of having first hand experience of building the firm’s reputation in family law and watching it flourish. This has resulted in a significant proportion of new family instructions coming from client referrals, including referrals from people against whom we have acted previously who have recognised the quality of our work and subsequently referred friends and family to us.  As a practice we aspire to be an outstanding legal practice in Jersey, respected for the excellence and energy we put into everything we do for our clients, our community and our people. Within the context of family work this means putting the time in to really listen to our clients and to explain legal and practical issues to them in detail to that they are best placed to make sensible, informed decisions notwithstanding any personal stresses they may be experiencing. Furthermore, we are dedicated to finding solutions rather than simply identifying problems.

Partners Advocate Nina Benest and Advocate Darry Robinson lead the Family and Litigation Teams and have significant experience and excellent reputations in the Courts of Jersey.
