Director of Business Development

Juan Sebastián Henao joined Hurtado Gandini Dávalos Abogados in 2024, where he serves as Director of Business Development. Since his incorporation, he has contributed to the firm’s strategic growth by leading initiatives that strengthen client relationships and promote business expansion.

Before joining HGD, Juan Sebastián led legal and compliance departments in national, multinational, and public sector organizations. His professional experience includes advising on commercial law, consumer protection, and competition law, with a strong focus on developing strategies to mitigate legal risks, structure business operations, and address regulatory inquiries. He also has experience in company valuation for mergers and acquisitions processes. In addition, he has served as a lecturer at Universidad Icesi, teaching courses in Business Law and Financial Law.

He holds degrees in Law, Economics, and International Business from Universidad Icesi, a Master’s in Finance from Universidad del Rosario, and an LL.M. in International Business Law from Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
