Senior Associate

Laura Bustos Peña joined Hurtado Gandini Dávalos Abogados in 2022, where she is part of the Corporate Law Department. Her work focuses on structuring contractual business models, providing legal advice on corporate matters, and drafting shareholder, partner, and third-party agreements. She also develops comprehensive legal strategies for family wealth management and advises healthcare providers and pharmaceutical entities on regulatory compliance and contracting matters.

Before joining HGD, Laura served as in-house counsel for a major industrial group, supporting corporate and commercial matters for both domestic and international entities. In that role, she led initiatives in corporate governance, managed regulatory responses before Superintendencies, and participated in tax planning, as well as the incorporation of national and international companies and trusts. She also gained experience in corporate legal advisory within a multidisciplinary professional services firm, strengthening her understanding of corporate structures and compliance.

She holds a Law degree from Universidad Icesi, where she also completed a specialization in Business Law and a Master’s in Law.
