Mr. Arango has been part of Hurtado Gandini Dávalos Abogados for over nine years, where he currently serves as Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Insurance Law Department. His work focuses on judicial and extrajudicial representation of clients, as well as coordinating the efforts of associates,  junior associates, and interns within these practice areas.

Orlando has represented clients in a wide range of disputes involving contractual and non-contractual civil liability, as well as insurance-related matters. He has participated in numerous arbitration proceedings and litigation cases of significant complexity and impact. His practice is distinguished by a rigorous analytical approach to civil liability, skilfully connecting factual and legal elements to evidentiary materials. This precise and methodical reasoning has been instrumental in securing favorable outcomes in both judicial and arbitration proceedings.

An active member of the Colombian Association of Insurance Law (ACOLDESE), Orlando regularly participates in national conferences and academic discussions on key developments in insurance law, occasionally contributing as a guest speaker.

Mr. Arango is a distinguished attorney who graduated cum laude from Universidad Icesi. He holds a specialization in Liability and Compensation Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Civil Procedural Law at the same institution.
