Mr. Hurtado is co-founder and managing partner of Hurtado Gandini Dávalos, where he also leads the Dispute Resolution and Insurance Department. With over 26 years of professional experience, he has built a distinguished career providing strategic legal counsel and representing clients in complex litigation across civil, commercial, administrative, criminal, and insolvency matters.

He has extensive experience advising national and international clients on dispute resolution and insurance matters, with a particular focus on insurance, infrastructure, mining, public and private liability, and the financial sector. His practice combines litigation expertise with preventive legal strategies designed to protect client interests and support business continuity.

In addition to his professional practice, Mr. Hurtado has served as lecturer in civil and insurance law at Universidad Icesi. He has led training programs in arbitration and conciliation at the Cali Chamber of Commerce, where he also acts as an arbitrator. His academic and professional contributions reflect his ongoing commitment to strengthening Colombia’s dispute resolution framework.
