Ms. Olave is Partner and Head of the Tax and Real Estate Law Department at Hurtado Gandini Dávalos Abogados. She joined the firm in 2000 and has since developed extensive experience advising clients on the structuring of robust legal vehicles for the management, investment, and transfer of assets, both locally and internationally, with an emphasis on optimizing tax efficiency. Her work also focuses on the design of comprehensive estate planning strategies, anticipating succession rules and ensuring a smooth and tax-efficient transition of assets to future beneficiaries.

Ana provides legal counsel and representation for taxpayers in administrative tax audits and litigation before the contentious administrative courts. Her practice combines a strong technical command of tax law with a strategic understanding of patrimonial and corporate structures, delivering tailored solutions to meet each client’s objectives.

In addition to her professional practice, Ms. Olave has served as lecturer at Universidad Icesi in Cali, teaching in the Postgraduate Program in Tax Procedures and Sanctioning Regime.

She holds a Law degree from Universidad San Buenaventura de Cali, a specialization in Tax Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia, and a Master’s in Taxation from Universidad de Manizales.
