Specialist in environmental, regulatory, and Indigenous law, with extensive experience in project development in sectors such as energy, industry, consulting, and aquaculture. His practice includes advising on regulatory compliance, environmental and regulatory assessment, management of sectoral permits, and resolution of administrative and judicial disputes.
Ximena Jirón
DIRECTOR
Specialist in Environmental and Regulatory Law. Member of the Environmental team, advising clients on sectoral permitting, legal strategies, and regulatory compliance.
Her experience includes processing projects under SEIA, obtaining sectoral permits, managing environmentally sensitive projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and representing clients in administrative and judicial environmental disputes.
José Miguel Abarca
ASSOCIATE
Provides support in the processing of projects within the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA), with experience in preparing legal strategies and risk analyses associated with investment projects. He has participated in environmental due diligence processes, the development of Compliance Programs, and the submission of follow-up reports to the Superintendence of the Environment (SMA). He also assists in drafting pertinence consultations and preparing administrative appeals before the Environmental Assessment Service (SEA), contributing to the efficient management and regulatory compliance of strategic projects.
Josefina Barriga
ASSOCIATE
She has assisted in the preparation of Environmental Declarations and Environmental Impact Studies, review of required background information, and project processing within the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA). Her experience includes drafting pertinence consultations, updating applicable regulations, conducting environmental due diligence, and developing legal strategies for project development. She has also supported sanctioning procedures before the Superintendence of the Environment, including monitoring Compliance Programs. Additionally, she has provided assistance in proceedings before Local Police Courts under Law No. 20.283 on the Recovery of Native Forest and Forest Promotion.
