• Incorporation of local companies, whether owned by Iraqi persons or foreigners
• Legally representing clients before official authorities and ministries in Iraq to obtain sectorial approvals and consents stipulated for conducting specific activities in Iraq (if applicable)
• Filing local companies and branches of foreign companies in the General Commission of Taxation and the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs – Directorate of Social Security

Taxes: We assist in the legal requirement of appointing a certified auditor, or CPA, to manage the company accounts and the following services

• Filing for a processing entitled exemption for foreign companies contracted by government contracting bodies from income tax and direct withholding tax in particular for supply and consulting contracts and services that do not require the presence of the foreign contracted company in Iraq (being trading with and not in Iraq).
• Filing tax accounts on behalf of foreign companies whether registered or not before all sections of the General Tax Commission and its branches, each according to its revenue and the type of work carried out and the directives of the General Tax Commission
• Providing guidance in calculating the monthly direct withholding tax and paying the same to the General Tax Commission on the dates fixed by law to avoid interest and financial penalties for delaying payment and for all employees working in companies with apply all the legal allowances available to the taxpayer in Iraq.
• Issuing, amending and renewing tax IDs for all registered taxpayers, whether locals, foreigners, natural or legal persons.
• Representing clients in providing all legal and financial data that the General Tax Commission may require in the legal periods stipulated by the Income Tax Law.
• Providing registration for foreign companies with the General Tax Commission and obtain a file number and a tax identification number “TIN”.
• Providing all tax, financial and legal consultations regarding the tax system in Iraqi including, procedures and rates of tax calculation applicable to taxpayers.
