22nd October 2020 In accordance with the General Guidelines for the Entry of Passengers to Costa Rica N ° LS-VG-006, issued by the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica, dated September 18th 2020, in order for foreign tourists to enter the country, they must have the following requirements:a) Present a document proving that an RT-PCR test for detection of SARS-CoV-2 was performed, with a negative result. The test must be taken at least 72 hours prior to the trip to Costa Rica. 22nd October 2020 As a result of the reform to the Article 148 of the Costa Rican Labor Code made in December 2019 by the Legislative Assembly, starting in 2020 the holiday of October 12 (Day of the Cultures) will not be celebrated and therefore will no longer be a non-binding holiday.
