Giulia Aranguena is a lawyer specializing in legal and regulatory assistance in Fintech, with particular expertise in Blockchain technology, gained through years of collaboration with numerous virtual currency providers and assistance offered in the areas of cryptocurrencies, gateways and payment facilitators.

Giulia has also served as Data Protection Officer for some of the most relevant Italian Blockchain companies and startups in the field of virtual currency payments, conversion, trading, and structuring organizational models of corporate anti-money laundering and privacy systems.

Giulia Aranguena qualified her experiences in the field by obtaining in 2019 the diploma Blockchain: Technologies and Application for Business from the University of California - Berkeley.

She has written numerous articles and essays dedicated to virtual currencies, digital payments, the legal nature of the currency system, the financial use of Blockchain technology, and, in general, the market for new technological financial services.

Since 2020 she has been a Partner at GIM Legal.
