Founding Partner of Regatta Consult LLP with over 25 years of experience advising domestic and international clients on corporate, M&A, regulatory, and dispute resolution matters in Kazakhstan. He provides strategic leadership to the firm’s multidisciplinary practices, leads complex, high-value transactions and litigation, and has actively participated in legislative working groups on amendments to key laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. With a background in international law, management, and business administration, he combines legal expertise with a strong commercial mindset.

Yessimzhan Yegemberdiyev

A partner of our firm with extensive experience in corporate and commercial legal matters in the jurisdictions of Kazakhstan, Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and the United States (California). He has successfully represented a large number of international companies and holding structures in negotiations with private and governmental counterparties on matters including: (i) investment structuring and distribution of dividends; (ii) corporate governance and management structures; (iii) dispute resolution; and (iv) negotiation and execution of commercial contracts in the real estate, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
