Career
Viyon Ojo is a transactional lawyer with significant experience advising on a wide range of corporate-commercial mandates. He possesses a commercial nous for solving complex commercial matters with a view to adding value to clients. He is well published several articles in peer-reviewed journals in Africa and Nigeria on energy-related and commercial law issues. He has advised a diverse clientele of top-tier indigenous, international, and multinational clients across key sectors, including Nigeria’s power, oil and gas, telecommunications, technology, real estate, and consumer goods. He was one of the 2022 cohorts of the Illini Science Policy Scholars/fellows who worked on core environmental policy issues impacting the state of Illinois, United States.
Viyon is a member of the Corporate and Commercial Practice of the Firm, where he regularly advises on all aspects of corporate commercial law for a wide range of multinational and corporate clients on sector-specific commercial transactions. Viyon’s core practice areas are Energy, Projects and Infrastructure, Capital Markets, Private Equity, and Policy development.
