Xiao joined Witan Solicitors in September 2024 as a Litigation Executive, swiftly establishing herself as a rising litigation talent. Building on her diverse legal experience across immigration, renewable energy, and healthcare industries, she now assists with complex commercial and civil disputes, including probate, banking, landlord–tenant, and shareholder cases.

Her commitment and elevated professional profile recently earned her a training contract with Witan, a decision informed not just by her strong performance, but also by her flourishing online presence: Xiao was ranked 15th among legal influencers on LinkedIn, underscoring her thought leadership and ability to elevate the firm’s visibility.

Born in China and relocating to the UK at a young age, Xiao is a native Mandarin speaker and also intermediate in Cantonese and French. She is recognized for her empathetic client care, “clear advice, responsiveness and reassurance”, especially notable in emotionally charged cases such as child maintenance matters.

Outside of her legal development, Xiao is passionate about personal growth and well-being. She regularly engages in mindfulness, health and fitness routines, and enjoys listening to audiobooks and podcasts focused on self‑improvement.
